Save the Date – Be the One! 
At the fall division event, it was announced that the 2013 Iowa-Nebraska Division meeting will be held June 14-16, 2013 at the Sheraton West Des Moines (1800 50th Avenue, West Des Moines). As no chapter stepped forward to host the meeting, the Division Board will be responsible for the meeting. With this change, the Board is recruiting chapters to assist with various committee work. Attached are Committee Assignments and Duties for your respective chapter.
Thank you in advance for your assistance. Will you please review your chapter duties with your board and members and provide Sherry Young and Rhonda Ostwald (meeting coordinator) the chapter member who will co-chair the committee your chapter is assigned to. The meeting coordinator and a Division representative will hold teleconference calls with each committee co-chairs to answer any questions and confirm budgets for committees.
During Susan Fenner’s presentation at the fall event, she talked about “changing places and changing faces”. The Division Board is exploring changes in the Division meeting schedule which will benefit members. The preliminary schedule is:

There will not be a scheduled Friday night activity. Members are welcome to arrive Friday, take in sites/shop/have dinner in Des Moines and/or network in the hospitality suite. Or you can choose to arrive Saturday morning prior to the seminar and save a night’s lodging.
Rooms are blocked at the Sheraton for Friday (fewer rooms on hold this evening) and Saturday night. The room rate is $105 single or $110 double. Included in this rate is the breakfast buffet in the Park Place Restaurant in the hotel. To make a reservation, select “book a room” in the upper right hand corner or “Reserve” in the overview area. By booking online, the Division Board and Meeting Coordinator will be able to track room needs.
The registration fee has not been determined yet and the Division Board will provide that information to chapters as soon as it’s available.
